O’Dwyers ladies 1st team played against Ballinteer St Johns this evening in a very windy Marley Park. The girls lined out and battled hard from the very beginning.

Heading into half time the girls held the lead, and without a doubt there were some fine passages of team play and hard work from everyone that lead to brilliant scores, including goals from Shannon Richardson and Evelyn O’Leary.

The girls finished the game on a scoreline of 5-13 to 3-10 , a well worked win for the girls as constant tackles, tracking and hard work was the difference.

The girls look forward to building on these performances week on week. With a very young side it’s great to see the new additions adding greatly to the team and gaining valuable experience at this level 🙌🏼💚
