Playing in their first camogie match of the season, it didn't take long for any cob webs to be blown off.
The only shadow of the day was cast by Bremore Castle, as blue skies and sunshine drenched us for an hour in the picturesque setting of the all weather pitch.
Having not played camogie for weeks it was lovely to see great performances across every position against a very capable Lusk side.
Our goalkeepers/defenders, composed and strong throughout. Keeping the Lusk attack at bay.
Our midfield/forwards worked extremely hard, keeping the Lusk team on their toes throughout the game.
From a coaches point of view seeing the enthusiasm of the players to implement skills they worked on during training is extremely rewarding.
It's obvious after today's game that the willingness to learn is there in abundance.
It's another stride in the right direction - long may it continue 🟢⚪
