The Assistant Treasurer will support the Treasurer and align on commercial planning and funding requirements in order to support with the delivery of commercial plans:
•Be responsible for co-ordinating and planning a fundraising calendar taking into account all fundraising events in the Club
•Chair the Project teams for each Fundraising initiative
•Coordinate & align with Bar & Social committees
•Evaluate fundraising events which people may propose in terms of: ○ Target money to be generated ○ Time and people resources involved to organise ○ Best timing of events to generate the greatest impact
•Any fundraising and/or Sponsorship events and their details have to be communicated to this person and this person has to approve them based on their merits and plan them into the calendar
•Generate fundraising ideas and set up groups to organise and implement those events
Estimated Effort: •Adhoc based on the nature of the project or scope of current activity circa 1-2 hours per week offline & some weekly meetings •Recurring monthly Exec meeting
Sub Committee: •Sub committees will be required to support some of the large events for example ○ Car Draw ○ Annual Cycle ○ Big event / TBC •The fundraising sub committee should be time limited to the event and final review only.
