Summer camp- important information for all parents/guardians

Hi all, we are very excited that our first club camp starts tomorrow 🌟🌟🌟we’re asking all parents/guardians to please read the below information thoroughly in advance of tomorrow💚 looking forward to a great week!!

Camp commences with daily registration at 9:45am. Camp will run from 10am-2pm

What does my child need to bring to camp?

-Lunch , small snacks for a little break.
-Extra Drinks if required
-Sun cream to be applied before they come to camp. Or if they are old enough to apply themselves. Coaches cannot administer suncream.

-Extra set of clothing / rain gear if poor weather forecast in place
-Runners/football boots

-Helmet and hurl if your son or daughter has these ( if not, don't worry we will give out spares or have alternative activities)

•LEAVING EARLY/WALKING HOME•
If a child has to leave early, a parent/guardian’s signature is required.
Older children who are allowed to walk home alone, parents/guardians to let Denise or Gary know.

•PERSONAL BELONGINGS•

Please ensure clothing and belongings are labelled with child’s name.
Encourage kids to put all spare items of clothing back into their sports bag
All gear left behind after camp each day will be on display next morning in the clubhouse.

•BAD WEATHER•

Light rain -camp will go ahead.

Very heavy rain - camp will be cancelled and parents/guardians will be requested to collect their children.

•ILNESS•
If your Child is unwell or unable to attend Please Notify Denise or Gary.

•PHOTOS & VIDEOS•
Photos/videos will be taken at camp for club promotional use and to showcase the activities we do at summer camps. If you wish for your child NOT to be in these pictures and videos, please notify Denise or Gary.

•PARKING•
Parking will be limited at Clubhouse.
Please do not drop kids off at the entrance to the clubhouse or on the roadside.

Please do not park in surrounding estates ; ie Clonuske or at the houses in front of the club.

Parking will be available @ Bremore Castle Carpark.

Please consider walking, cycling or scooting.

•MEDICATION•
If your child needs to take medication while attending camp, please label it and leave it in clubhouse with Denise or Gary. It will be returned at the end of each day

•ALLERGIES•
We have a child with a *severe* nut allergy attending camp. Can we please ask that all parents/guardians DO NOT add anything containing nuts to your child’s lunch box.

We also have a person at camp with a severe cat allergy.  If you have a cat in your home , please ensure that your child doesn’t pick the cat up before camp as the hair from the cat on clothing severely affects the person with the allergy. Please ensure your  child washes their hands.
