O'Dwyers Hurlers travelled to Fairview to play against St Josephs OCB. Both teams started well, exchanging points in the first 10 minutes.

O'Dwyers settled into the game then and took control with some fine scores. O'Dwyers youth, skill and tenacity proved too much for St Josephs and despite a fight-back from them in the early part of the 2nd half, O'Dwyers were convincing winners at full time.

Final Score 1-20 to 2-5.

With one back match remaining O'Dwyers sit 3rd in the Div10 table, with a chance of making the play-off for promotion. After many, many years of struggle in O'Dwyers senior hurling we are now seeing the rewards of our focus on juvenile development for dual players. 14 of our 15 players last night are under the age of 22 and all play adult football for the club!

We head quickly into Championship now with our first match on 17th July.
