Our U16 boys travelled out to Sallynoggin to play Cuala in their last league match last night with just 14 men due to illness and holidays.

We were up against it in the 1st half in the driving rain and gale force wind but a huge effort from the lads had us leading at half time by the bare minimum.

The conditions didn't improve much in the second half but both teams kept at it.

Despite a very tight 2nd half, goals from Matthew and Dillon together with points from Darragh and Conor helped us keep our noses in front and we finished out with a good win.

Final score was 2-7 to 3-10 to O'Dwyers.
