The senior men’s first team welcomed Cuala to Bremore on Tuesday for our latest round of the league. The lads started the game well with a tightly marshalled defence keeping the Cuala attacks at bay while our fast transition into attack saw Cathal, Padraic, Tristan, Mossy & Toddy all register scores. As the game progressed, the lads really began to control the action around the middle third with John, Dylan & Cian putting a lot of pressure on the Cuala kickout which was a springboard for even more attacks. The game was marred by an accidental collision at the end of the first half between Dylan and one of the Cuala players which resulted in both players requiring lengthy treatment. On the resumption, our lads maintained their high energy attacking game and ran out winners on a 2.15 to 0.07 scoreline. This result puts the lads into 2nd place in div 5 and maintains their promotion push.

Up next for the team is Round Towers Clondalkin (away) at 11am on Sunday & all support for the lads is greatly appreciated. Finally, we wish Dylan and his opponent from Cuala a speedy recovery & hopefully they will be back in action soon.
