Our Ladies second team welcomed St Vincent's to Balbriggan this evening.  On a very hot day we played down the hill in the first half. There was great support on the side lines and amazing support from our Minor and U.16's teams. We played Nice football but struggled to get the scores we deserved while Vincent's managed to take a good percentage of theirs.

Second half Vincent's tired a little while our ladies coped well with the heat. We continued to play nice free flowing football, passing and moving, creating space and taking our shots. But unfortunately it was not to be our night.

To think that we've never had a second ladies team in the O'Dwyers, and now we have a second team fielding every week. League, Cup and now Championship to look forward to aswell. To see the ex players that have come back to the Club and enjoy playing and training again aswell as the experience being gained by the Minor and U.16's that are now able to get a taste of adult football, it's just amazing.

We the coaches are so proud of all the players involved and also appreciative of all the support we are receiving from across the club.
