Our U16 boys travelled over to Silver Park to take on Kilmacud Crokes in a must win game last weekend.

We started the match well, taking some good scores and went into a quick 2-4 to 0-2 lead after 20 mins.

We were guilty of taking our foot off the pedal a bit after that and after some unforced errors we went in at half time 3-7 to 3-2 ahead.

We asked the lads to reset and refocus at half time and they all took this with them into the 2nd half.

As the half wore on and after some huge work put in, including some great pressing and finishing by the whole team, we gradually took control of the game and finished out strongly winning by 8-15 to 3-3.
