O'Dwyers Senior Ladies 2nd team welcomed Castleknock to Breamore Park this evening. With fantastic club support from our minor and U.16's Ladies teams we took to the pitch with high spirits some new faces and names to learn. 

The game started at a frenetic pace with both teams playing free flowing attacking football. Castleknock opened up an early lead, but O'Dwyers played with passion and confidence to start building their own scores and close the gap. 

Second half started in much the same vein with both teams playing some breathtaking football and kicking some fine scores. Unfortunately it wasn't to be our day, but the girls fought all the way to the end and never gave up. 

It was a very entertaining game and our girls played their socks off. Our second half performance was without doubt the best 30 mins of football we've played so far. This is all the encouragement we need as we continue to show continued development and we can ask for no more than that. Suffice to say there were no strangers in the dressing room afterwards,  just one big happy Team. Happy in the knowledge that they had just put in everything they had to offer and really enjoyed the experience as they look forward to the next game and the challenge.
