O'Dwyers (B) v Man O War (B

We welcomed Man O War to Breamore Park on Wednesday evening for a league match that was played in great spirit by both teams.

In what was only our 4th league match since starting our 2nd adult ladies team, we really that this was our best half of football so far. We codensed the pitch size very well and improved vastly our transition play and also our support play. Unfortunately we dropped the ball in dangerous areas for which we were punished. At the other end we took some nice scores but we're also unfortunate to hit a few wides. At least we're now creating opportunities that we were not creating in our previous games. 

Second half fatigue and injuries got the better of us, as once again we only had the bare 15 players available. So hats off to those who turned up unwell or already nursing knocks & bangs from our previous games. 

I think we all can see the progress being made physically,  tactically and technically. The next thing we can try to improve on is numbers, as we currently only have 15 adult players in the squad. So if there are any new or explayers out there that might like to join us, please pop along to training Monday nights in O'Dwyers from 8pm - 9pm

Once again,  big shout out to our Minors - Rebecca,  Shannon , Aimee and Leah who we wish a speedy recovery to, finally special mention and big thanks to Aiobheann for saving the day by playing in nets for us - you were magic 👏👏👏
