What a difference a day makes……

Our U8 boys were working hard this week and due to play Oliver Plunketts on Saturday morning. Gumshields were ready, boots packed, jerseys ready to go and rain gear to beat the band. All players were about to hit the road on a drizzly Saturday morning when word came through that the pitch was off so our game would have to be deferred. Huge disappointment all round but we will be ready to go again when the weather improves.

Then on Sunday it was the turn of the girls who were due to host St Pats Donabate in our home ground of Bremore Park. The rain wasn’t kind and forced us to relocate to the AllWeather in Donabate where the sun shone on a beautiful Sunday morning. Great battling and skills on display from both sides and we look forward to meeting the girls again in the future.
