O’Dwyers GAA celebrating international womens’ day!!
As many of you know , today is international womens’ day and we at O’Dwyers GAA want to take this as an opportunity to recognise the progress that LGFA and Camogie have made in our club!!
It’s only since a few years ago that we’ve had camogie re-introduced into the club and we play at levels up to u15. This year will also be the first year we have an O’Dwyers team in a camogie Féile💚💚
On the other hand, ladies’ Gaelic football has also come on leaps and bounds in the club. In 2022, our senior ladies won their Leinster championship, along with the Dublin championship and reaching the All Ireland Semi final! We’ve seen many fantastic achievements from our juvenile ladies’ teams who work so hard, week in, week out! And of course we must mention our ladies’ secretary , Denise Corcoran who always works her magic when we need her.
We would also like to thank many of our volunteers, who do so much work behind the scenes- whether that’s in organising events , coaching teams , working at the club shop or supporting our teams. It wouldn’t be possible to have over 200 girls playing our games without you all!!! These pictures are only a handful of the girls we have playing!!!!
Happy International Womens’ day from all at O’Dwyers GAA.
