The amazing under 9s travelled out to Oldtown to play Wild Geese on Saturday morning for their first Hurling Go Games match of 2023. The new year as seen a big setup up in the matches with the team playing 25 minute halves. In what started out as a wet and windy first half the boys soared against the Geese with some amazing striking. As the matches continued the weather cleared up and the sun shone as points flew over the bar at either end.
Both teams gave it their all with both matches too close to call. What a great start to the season and more to come newt week as they travel to Howth to play Beann Eadair.
