Girls were up first against a very evenly matched skerries team and both teams fought really hard. Lessons learnt by both sides and we look forward to meeting our neighbours again soon

It was then the turn of the boys who had a great battle with Maurs. No mercy was asked and no quarter was given as both teams went toe to toe in a thrilling game to watch

After that it was straight into the fray against Pats from Stamullen. Tired bodies were put in the line again with some great efforts despite the tiredness.
