Our club AGM is coming up shortly and it is being held on the 17th November at 8pm in our Clubhouse.
What does it mean to be part of the Club Executive ?
- You get a voice on the future direction, strategy and day to day running of the club across a number of areas
- There are a number of roles which sit on the Club Executive and sub committees that are part of our club governance structure

Common questions when considering a larger role or a role on the Club Exec
- What do I need to do as a member of Club Exec? - Attend Bi-Weekly Exec meeting - 2hrs and drive the strategy for the period of term for your specific role, be part of the decision making process for general club decisions
- What if I can not commit fully - We all have day jobs, families the key is balance one way to ensure to fill the duties effectively is to build a strong team within your group or create a sub committee
- I am new to the club can I get involved - The club is approaching a significant change where we are moving from a small club to a large club and there is an immediate need for new talent and support on all committees in order for us to push to the next level as we move to the new development
- My kids no longer play on teams, do I have to have kids involved to be on the Exec - No just have a passion for the future of the club
- How Do I nominate ? - You can nominate yourself or someone can nominate you ( if nominating somebody else please ensure that they are agreeable ) The nominations paper can be returned by email to the Club Secretary or by post to the club on Hamlet Lane, no later than Tuesday the 1st November at 8pm. On the evening of the Exec the nominations will be voted for by the AGM participants
