O Dwyers U11 Girls v Round Towers Lusk

On a Sunny September Saturday, O'Dwyers U11 Girls welcomed Round Towers Lusk U11 girls to Bremore Park.

They brought with them some great skills and determination but all of the O'Dwyers girls, after a slow start, were eventually up for the battles on the day and outplayed and out scored on several occasions.

This team, with a bit more hard work on the training ground could become a team other teams will see as a challenge and will surely some day match the achievements of the O'Dwyers LGFA Junior Team who were crowned county A champions this week.

And to finish with the weekend that’s in it and Mr Brooks describing this team : “they have chosen to chance the rapids and are willing to dance the tide”
