On a fine sunny Thursday evening in August with a slight breeze the under 11 girls went up against St Colmcillies, Bettystown in the first challenge fixture of the season.

The Meath girls were a well-drilled outfit, however, the O'Dwyers under 11 girls held their own and used all their skills over two fantastic games

The girls defended with their hearts and passed with their heads up and with a smile on their faces.

So with so many outstanding performances and the recent addition of some new players it is sure to be a bright future for this bunch of girls.
