Well done to the O'Dwyerts lads who have been involved in the Camaint Hurling tournament over the past four weeks
In this brilliant hurling competition, each team played matches every Wednesday evening during July
There are some differences to the rules of the games in Camaint with the main difference being that during the first and third quarter of every game, only “ground hurling” is allowed.
Every O’Dwyers player that took part during July improved their striking because of this rule.
Many thanks to the Fingallians club for organising the tournament, the treats and the medals last evening were a lovely gesture.
A really enjoyable few weeks of hurling and smiles on faces at the end of each evening which is the main thing.
Thanks again to all the parents, supporters & Mentors without you, it would not be possible
