Fantastic morning against well-drilled Clontarf U11 side(s). Across all three games, each team played very well for a half, one team in the first half, the others in the second half, overall a good performance and enjoyable morning
We had 27 players in action, one of the highest turnouts we have had this year, brilliant to see the lads in action. Lots of learning in these games for them, getting used to playing with each other and how to work as a team.
Plenty to work on in the weeks ahead, happy we are heading in the right direction
Two special mentions
- Well done to Nathan who recently joined the team and played his first game of Gaelic Football for the team/club, excellent performance, well done and welcome to the crazy gang 😂
- Speedy recovery to Adam who fractured his pinky finger at school last week, seen the x-rays, not for the faint-hearted, thankfully all sorted now and he needs to rest up for a few weeks. Looking forward to getting Adam back in action
Well done to the lads and thanks to all the parents and supporters for coming out and cheering them on this morning 👏
