On Tuesday evening last, we packed the lads up on a bus and headed off to Sandyford. The excitement before the game was electric but as game time got closer we could see the lads starting to relax and focus on the mission at hand.

We scored first with a lovely solo point by Padraig and soon followed with a goal, but Naomh Olaf had a strong core and rallied some good chances to score two goals in quick succession.

We stood tall and came right back with two goals of our own by Padraig and Craig. Julian finished off the half with another goal, leaving the half time score 3-3 to 4-2 to Naomh Olaf.

The second half was a tight hard fought battle, score for score with hard tackles and some handling errors on our part. Craig powered through for another goal, Dillon made an impact coming on at half time when the opposition were tired, scoring a lovely point. However two penalties were hard to handle which leveled up the game in the dying minutes. Final score tonight draw game. O'Dwyer's 5-08 to Naomh Olaf 6-05

Massive effort tonight from Conor in midfield, never quitting and making the charging runs forward all night and huge display from Julian with a lovely 2-3

We tried something new with the lads tonight and as always they gave it everything. Some more practice and minor tweeks and we'll have it nailed down.

Massive well done to all the lads tonight huge effort by everyone. And on to the next stage.
See everyone Thursday night at training. Back on grass! And a semifinal on Sunday coming! Well done lads.

Semifinal Sunday 12.15pm against Scoil Uí Chonaill in Clontarf.
