Match report O'Dwyers vs St. Brigid's U16 Hurling League D4

We welcomed a strong Brigid's side for our first league match of the season. Brigid's took full advantage of the wind and some errors from ourselves to establish a good lead early on. Two goals brought us back into contention including a brilliant solo for effort from Jamie. Matthew and Callum J scored the other goals. Halftime score O'Dwyers 3-2 to Brigid's 6-8.

Second half saw the lads up the intensity even more and we settled into our own game. Two brilliantly taken goals by Callum J and Pádraig directly from a 65 as well as a couple of excellent points by Pádraig gave us some hope but it wasn't to be. Final score O'Dwyers 5-4 to Brigid's 6-10.

The lads should be very proud of their efforts today. Their intensity and collective leadership will only get even better as the season goes on. Thanks. Mentors.
