The club is proud to announce that a fantastic total of €8,500 was raised for two very important Palestinian charities.
This year's beneficiaries are:
  • Uisce for Gaza – providing clean drinking water to the people of Gaza.
  • Aida Camp – supporting trauma therapy programmes for children in the West Bank.
The organising committee would like to sincerely thank the O'Dwyers Executive Committee for supporting this endeavour.
A huge thank you also to the O'Dwyers bar team, the incredible local bands who generously gave their time and performed free of charge, and the many sponsors who helped make the day such a success. In true community solidarity, we commend and thank Balbriggan Road Runners and Swimming Socks for their support and fund raising.
We were delighted to welcome 12 clubs from far and wide, bringing more than 200 children and coaches to enjoy our fantastic club facilities. It was a wonderful sporting occasion, and we thoroughly enjoyed hosting you all.
Most importantly, our biggest thank you goes to the people of Balbriggan. The local community turned out in huge numbers to buy raffle tickets, enjoy burgers, and support the various Palestine fundraising stalls throughout the day. For the event to succeed, we needed the support of the wider community, not just our club members, and Balbriggan truly delivered.
We hope many people also learned a little more about our wonderful club, its place in the Balbriggan community, and the sporting and cultural benefits it brings. The day showcased exactly what the GAA means to a community and what can be achieved when people come together for a good cause.

Go raibh maith agaibh go léir. 💚🤍
