O'Dwyers GAA Club are looking for companies to submit expression of interest as part of a tender process for services to clean the windows both externally and internal on a predefined schedule.
Scope of Work & Frequency
Social Area: Monthly or Bi-monthly schedule
Sports Area: Quarterly or Bi Annual schedule
O'Dwyers GAA clubhouse has a second story balconies and high architectural glazing, a "reach and wash" water-fed pole system is required as part of the scope
All applicants to provide proof of:
-Public Liability Insurance: Ensure their limit is sufficient (typically a minimum of €6.5 million or €13 million in Ireland for community/sports facilities) and covers working at heights.
-Health & Safety Compliance: A copy of their safety statement, method statements for working at heights, and risk assessments specific to a public sports facility.
-Garda Vetting & Child Safeguarding: Because the club hosts underage teams (juvenile training, mini-leagues, summer camps), any contractor working on-site during operational hours should ideally be aligned with the club’s Child Safeguarding Statement, or work strictly during specific, pre-agreed low-traffic windows.
Submission Requirements; interested parties to submit:
-A brief profile of their company and experience with similar commercial or community facilities.
-Two references from similar commercial or sports club clients.
-Confirmation that they can meet insurance and safeguarding criteria.
-An indicative breakdown of costs (e.g., a fixed price per clean, separated by internal vs. external glass).
