The Club Coaching Officer will be chairman of the Coaching and Games Development Subcommittee. He / She will have responsibility for managing the affairs of the committee and for overseeing all coaching and games development-related activities and policies.
 
● Provide direction for coaching for all codes within the Club
● Plan and appoint all Coaches with support from wider Executive for coaching ratification.
● Oversee effective Club school link in conjunction with Club school liaison officer
● Responsible for Club GPO strategy and execution - Primary goals Promotion of GAA & club within schools and recruitment of players from schools for teams and OgDwyers  
● Lead role in devising and developing Club coaching plan
● Responsible for implementation and monitoring of Club coaching plan
● Oversee all coach education programmes within the Club
● Ensure that all coaching teams have required requirements in place prior to ratification in line with Children officer
● Responsible to set up sub committee and oversight of C&G Sub committees and reporting of issues & progress into the club Exec  
○ Fixtures & Scheduling
○ Equipment ordering & management  
○ Team jerseys and annual audit  
○ Athletic Development  
○ Winter training planning  
○ Summer / Easter Camp  
○ OgDwyers & Youth Pathway ( Referee )
○ GPO Steering committee oversight
Estimated Effort
● Adhoc based on the nature of the project or scope of current activity circa 2-3 hours per week offline & some weekly meetings  
● Recurring monthly Exec meeting
Sub Committee

● Multiple Sub-committees are required to ensure smooth running of the club games & teams  
○ Fixtures & Scheduling
○ Equipment ordering & management  
○ Camps
○ GPO Steering committee oversight

● In order to set up this role for success and to ensure further alignment and strategic planning the following [ NEW ] roles are identified to support the C&G officer in the operations
○ CCC1 Lead | John Harding  
○ CCC2 Lead | Ciaran Gaye
○ Director of Football | OPEN / VACANT  
○ Director of Hurling | Ronan Coone

● The introduction of these roles will support in the development of tactical plans to drive the performance of our coaching and to devise and implement a plan to deliver our goal of a Division 1 club across all codes
