O'Dwyers Adult Ladies (junior) welcomed St James Gaels to Bremore Park yesterday on beautiful summers evening, where a minutes silence was held for Patrick Doran (nephew of our good friend Dick Burke)
With O'Dwyers playing up the hill in the first half, the match was played at a great pace, with some fine scores being taken at both ends. We were happy enough trailing by just a single point at half time. Second half O'Dwyers were relentless in our attacking play, creating space, and taking scores. On a hot humid night the girls worked hard for a well deserved win.
Much thanks to the minor girls for their continued support and also the O'Dwyers faithful who turned out in great numbers as usual to cheer us on.
Final score
O'Dwyers  5 - 11
St James Gaels 2 - 07
