The u16 girls finished their league campaign off in the beautiful Ticknick Park against a plucky FoxCab side.

The girls started the game well, however, we conceded a few goals leaving us a point up at halftime. We regrouped and reorganised ourselves for the second half, the girls fought hard and the work rate stayed consistent which helped them come out on top 6-12 to 2-10

The girls played a total of 7 games in the league finishing mid table. We started the campaign slowly and were victim to a few agonising last minute score defeats.

The girls really knuckled down in training, generating a genuine belief in themselves, finishing out the campaign very strong with three wins on the trot.

Very well done to the girls and mentors (both U15s & U16s) who helped them this season.  We are very proud of them all 👏👏 

A special mention goes out to our parents and loyal supporters who are there week on week supporting the team.

A big shout out and well done to all our new players who joined this season. It’s great to see the numbers growing still.
